The Stormlight Archive Rhythm of War Review
Rhythm of War is the first book in The Stormlight Archive that I criticized many things that just seemed weird or off. It still has high highs, though. And, because of it, I became hooked on the Cosmere and the cosmic war that The Stormlight Archive is leading to. So, for Sanderson, mission accomplished.

Yes, the book is sometimes repetitive. But go on. It’s worth reading for the insanely well-realized alien world that is The Way of Kings.

Dune: Taste Versus Quality
The characters in Dune don’t journey as much as are placed on a board. That’s ok! In fact, it’s excellent writing. I can appreciate it. But I don’t necessarily enjoy it.
