War for the Planet of the Apes Review
It has a lot of moments that are good in isolation, but this movie is not good. It’s a shame, after the greatness of the previous two movies, that I spent most of this movie questioning the decisions of the characters and the actions of the plot.

Streamlined, simpler, but because of that meatier than the first, Part 2 will leave you in awe as well as afraid. Come for the amazing special effects. Stay for the characters communicating complex ideas. It’s not my favorite ever, but it is much better than Part 1.

While Mission: Impossible has always advertised itself on being bigger and badder than the previous movies, what really makes the movies shine is the characters. This movie keeps it fresh through Hayley Atwell’s Grace, and the other characters that drive the twists and thrills of Dead Reckoning: Part One.
